Description
All six episodes from the third series of the 1990s sitcom starring Penelope Keith as an MP coming to terms with life at Westminster. After moving to London to take up her seat, Labour MP Jean Price (Keith) quickly finds her principles tested, not only by her Tory adversary, Sir Godfrey Eagan (George Baker), but also by her party’s Chief Whip, Norman (Garfield Morgan). Jean discovers that remaining true to her principles won’t be as easy as she had anticipated in the heat of political battle. The episodes comprise: ‘Hawks and Doves’, ‘A Bed for the Night’, ‘Sugar and Spice’, ‘I’d Like to See You Do It’, ‘What Care? What Compensation?’ and ‘Lobby Terms’.
