Future Network is a DVD, BluRay, Audio CD, and Book distribution and
production label, operated by Quoit Media Limited, founded in 2024 and
launched in 2025.
Future Network is not connected in any way to Network Distributing Limited
or any other company using the name Network.
OUR INSPIRATION
In 1997, a unique individual called Tim Beddows, with a long-established
passion for archive television and film, had a vision.
For several years he had believed that there was a market for an
entertainment releasing label which catered for those of us who loved
watching old films and TV shows that the big names had no interest in
releasing.
Tim started off by releasing VHS compilations of public information films,
before his company, which morphed into Network Distributing Limited, moved
into restoring and releasing archive television titles such as The
Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, and Robin of Sherwood.
Over the next 26 years, the company released several thousand titles, many
of which would have been eternally ignored by other labels. Films and
television series were lovingly restored and re-mastered from original film
or video elements and the company were unrivalled in their care and vision,
which emanated from their MD, Tim.
In November 2022 Tim passed away suddenly at the age of 59. Network went
into liquidation in 2023.
Future Network has been set up by close friends of Tim’s, who were not
employees or directors of Network, with a desire to continue to be inspired
by Tim’s dream.
Before he passed away, Tim wrote the following: “When so much has changed,
arrived and disappeared; when you barely have time to blink and with so much
put in front of you, like it or not, it is gratifying to know that we can
still offer a little break from it all in form of something from the past as
stirring, emotive and pioneering as anything made today.”
Future Network is proud to be continuing, albeit on a smaller scale for now,
Tim’s legacy.
Future Network is operated by Quoit Media Limited, publishers of such titles

Robert Fairclough and Mike Kenwood, and The Prisoner – The Essential Guide
by Rick Davy.
